Whenever i want to journal and choose writing as the input method and click on the textfield/area, the keyboard only appears a millisecond and then dissappears again, making it impossible to write anything. Writing while chatting, however, works just fine. The device I'm using is a Samsung S22 with Android 14.

Sometimes Kin struggles to generate words containing umlauts and the ß correctly. I suspect Kin may encounter similar difficulties with other languages that have umlauts and special characters. When notified of a mistake or asked to correct these words, Kin understands and can amend them independently. 😊 👍🏻 Below are some examples of how Kin incorrectly generates words, followed by the correct versions and their English translations. The app seems to be incorrectly associating the date with a day of the week. When looking at my history, the calendar grid has the days on the correct day of the week, but the screen with the days at the top is off by one. It thinks dec 14 is Friday.
